SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The sassa status check intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to allow the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
